Readers of two of Germany’s most widely read RV magazines, promobil and CARAVANING, have once again named Thetford number one in toilet systems for leisure vehicles in their Beste Marken (Best Brands) 2026 competition.

The promobil Beste Marken Award is considered one of the most important awards in the European RV industry. What sets it apart is its fully consumer-driven nature: readers of promobil and its sister magazine CARAVANING vote for their favourite brands across a range of categories in Europe’s largest RV market. The awards are presented annually during CMT, the world’s largest consumer trade fair for tourism and leisure, held in Stuttgart.

In the 2026 edition, Thetford was awarded first place in the category Best Toilet Systems and second place in Best Refrigerators.
