By recommending that customers use this product 2–3 times a year for maintenance, you can save a lot of time for the mechanics in your workshop.

Yes. In most situations it is possible to replace the toilet. Contact your dealer or Thetford Service Centre for the possibilities. 

We recommend using Aqua Soft. This toilet paper dissolves quickly and prevents problems in the cassette. In addition,  is easier to clean the cassette.

Cleaning and maintenance

Empty the waste-holding tank (toilet waste tank) when it is full or starts to smell (4 to 5 days for Thetford Blue products, 3 to 4 days for Thetford Green products), use Thetford Aqua Soft quick dissolving toilet paper to prevent clogging. Regularly clean the outside of the toilet with Thetford Bathroom Cleaner and clean the toilet bowl with Thetford Toilet Bowl Cleaner when necessary. Finally, clean the waste-holding tank and grey water tank (tank that collects waste water from sink and shower) with Duo Tank Cleaner Concentrated 2-3 times a year to keep all moving parts inside the tank at peak operational level and to prevent odour formation during winter storage.

First, and most important of all: use a Thetford waste-holding tank additive and use it according to the instructions.
Thetford’s waste-holding tank additives are highly effective toilet additives that offer the best performance for your Cassette and portable toilet.

Empty your waste-holding tank every 4-5 days (depending on the waste-holding tank additive you use).

Next to this we recommend using Thetford Duo Tank Cleaner Concentrated 2 to 3 times a year on the waste-holding tank to thoroughly clean the inside of the tank and remove stubborn limescale.
 

To prevent waste-holding tank leakage, always keep the rubber seals smooth and lubricated by regularly using Thetford Seal Lubricant. Spray the seals and valves liberally with the Thetford Seal Lubricant. Please note: unlike household silicone sprays, this spray is specially developed for Thetford toilets and plastic parts, and therefore absolutely safe to use.
