Thetford Releases Tank Blaster Video Featuring Side-by-Side Tests

ANN ARBOR, Mich. –  In February, Thetford Corporation introduced Tank Blaster, which helps prevent RV black and grey holding tank build-up. Developed by Thetford’s industry-leading chemists, Tank Blaster uses the power of enzymes to “blast crud” and clean tank walls and sensors.

To illustrate the new product’s effectiveness, Thetford has released a video with a side-by-side comparison of Tank Blaster, a competitor’s product and tap water. The video features Chemical Development Manager Paula Pacholke-Dumont, who explains the demo and how Tank Blaster works.

“Thetford’s industry-leading engineers design products that help RVers enjoy the RV lifestyle,” said Mary Pouliot, Thetford’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, the Americas. “This video shows how Tank Blaster performs significantly better than the competition and water.”

In addition to demonstrating Tank Blaster’s superior performance, the video provides viewers with a glimpse into the scientific rigor used to create the product.

“The video demonstrates the proprietary Micro-Foam action, created by our chemical experts, to make better contact with tank walls and provide more complete cleaning,” Pouliot said.

Tank Blaster, which has a light cherry scent, works overnight and even in hard water – making it easy and convenient for RV owners to use. It’s sold in a re-sealable pouch with four single-dose, tear-open pouches of non-dusting granules so it’s easy to use in both black and grey water tanks.
